As we move through the Coronavirus pandemic we are constantly revisiting our ways of working to ensure, as much as possible, the safety of those using the Surgery to protect our patients and staff.
We now ask that all those entering the Surgery to wear a facemask or face covering – you will be reminded of this when speaking with staff or booking your appointment. This is also the case when you collect medication. You will have noted we have made steps to enable social distancing, please follow this guidance. Many patients are already doing so – thank you very much.
Some patients will be offered an NHS quality facemask by our clinical staff as their personal health need justifies it, we are not wanting to deplete NHS stocks so are asking everyone else to provide their own facemask or covering.
At the moment, Mitcheldean Pharmacy are selling washable masks for £4.99 or non-NHS quality disposable masks for £1 each. From Friday 5th June we hope to be selling washable masks for £3 on behalf of Great Oaks Hospice, they are making and supplying us with the masks for sale and all proceeds will go to Great Oaks.
Thank you again to all those who are supporting us through this pandemic, for following our guidance, your kindness and thoughtfulness – we all really appreciate it!
