Sadly, over the past few weeks an increasing number of patients have been abusive to staff by telephone and in person, this is not OK!
Most of this unpleasantness has been directed to the Dispensary staff. Our staff are processing prescription requests quickly, they are working within strict National guidelines and parameters advised by the GP Partners – they must follow these guidelines. Please give them plenty of time to process your repeat prescription (5 working days).
All our calls are recorded and we listen to the calls if there is a problem; we have zero tolerance towards any kind of abusive behaviour including raised voices, threats and swearing.
We all understand the pressures of coping in a pandemic and are sympathetic to the needs of individuals, please follow our processes so we can then help you quickly and effectively.
